Inspired by the Martin Luther King Jr. quote where he reminded us that “the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” I wanted to capture the idea that our future and that of generations to come heavily relies on how well we see each other and the earth that we inherited. What affects one, affects all on this planet and that alone is an invitation to celebrate and protect one another. The triangle represents one of the strongest shapes of which we build structure and a foundation to build upon in order to reach our greatest potential as a human race. To do that we have to integrate and see the inherent value of all beings and empower them to protect and serve the earth that provides for us. The two beings are supporting and balancing one another at the top of the structure and are bending light towards justice. There's nothing we can't accomplish when we come together with a unified goal and deep desire for change. Change can take a long time, but it does happen and we all play a unique part in building the world we want to live in. Taking inspired action with a deep reverence for the environment creates the mosaic of all who work for a better future; the light that waits inside of us to grow and spread its rays towards a future sky.
