Overview

This large-scale mural blends natural symbolism with meditative form, designed to bring a calm yet striking presence to the side of a residential apartment building in the heart of Sacramento.

Inspired by the shifting rhythms of sunset, ocean, and mountain, the piece moves through three distinct zones—sunset skies in soft rose tones, textured earth in warm neutrals, and deep waves in layered blues—all composed entirely with hand-placed dots.

The mural creates a sense of flow, stillness, and awe, anchoring the space while sparking the imagination of passersby. It’s both grounding and expansive, a visual breath in the city’s landscape.
