An expansive mural that turned a quiet patio into a radiant portal of color, calm, and connection- 700 sq. ft. of bold renewal for a wellness sanctuary
At the heart of Marin’s serene Evexia Wellness Club sits a patio that now pulses with renewed life. I was commissioned to transform this 700 sq. ft. outdoor space into something more than visual — something felt.
Over four days of intensive painting, I brought to life a gradient, mountain-inspired mural that wraps the eye in waves of color and softened geometry. Painted directly onto slated wood paneling, the work mirrors the undulating natural beauty of the surrounding California landscape while amplifying the emotional tone of the space itself.
What was once a quiet transitional zone is now a beacon — casting light into the main lobby and creating what one community member described as “a warmth in people’s faces that wasn’t there before.”
Staff have shared that the mural has “revitalized the spirit of the building,” and guests regularly stop to reflect, absorb, and photograph the work.
This mural was not just a background — it was an invitation to breathe deeper. The rhythm, color, and scale were all designed to evoke lightness, expansion, and clarity. I wanted it to feel like standing inside a horizon line — grounded, yet lifted.
“One of our members cried when they saw it — not because of the mural, but because of how it made the space feel.”
“The lobby team looks softer. Lighter. It’s like the wall brought in a new spirit.”
